Description

Axon Flux is an indie game studio based in Zurich, Switzerland.

The company is made up of four developers, one freelancer and a network of collaborators from different countries.

It’s core design philosophy is to create titles people actually complete and take pride in their achievement.

By this, the studio means quality games that pack big adventure into less than 10h of play time, affordably priced for a vast number of players, but with all the fit and finish they have come to expect.

Guided by this mindset, Axon Flux aims to become a double-A developer of premium games over the coming years.

History

Axon Flux was founded in 2021 by Oliver Leins and Nils Hausfeld.

The two got to know each other during their studies at Games Academy in Berlin, where they developed three games together. After graduating, they worked at Reija GmbH (a subsidiary of kr3m) for two years.

In aspiration to seize control of the full pipeline and delight players with titles designed around engaging game mechanics, Oliver and Nils took the plunge into the adventure of starting a business.

Starting in 2022, the team grew bigger, as the efforts for Axon Flux’s first major title CACTUS ramped up.
